My lap top has numerous sockets, one of which is used for a mouse. So far my efforts to  download an instruction manual have been abortive. I keep going round and around getting no where . The mouse I have, has a DIN plug, so I will need a new lead, but with what end plug?

    Hi nonicol98 and welcome.

It sounds like your mouse has an old PS2 Mouse connector (mini-DIN).

This PS2 socket has been replaced by the USB ports on your Vaio and you will need an adapter that looks like this: -

You can buy these for one or two pounds or you can buy a USB mouse (wired or wireless) for only a little more: -

If you tell us which Vaio you have, I'm sure someone will help with the user guide.

I have a vpcej3t1e(/b) and the manual is either not here or it is inaccessable. The system just gives me the runaround
