I recently replaced my old viao with a newer one (VPPCB2M0E) forgetting I needed firewire to download video from my HC3 handycam. I have tried firewire USB adaptors with no sucess and the HDMI connection appears to be output only. Is there any way I can download video without replacing the laptop again.
On your laptop, do you have an expansion slot located within the case? I have looked up your laptop model online but I have some conflicting information about this so if you could take a look I can advise further.
