problem with social feed reader

How do you use the social feed reader function?

 

I managed to add my twitter and facebook account when I got my tablet but everytime I open the applkcation, I get an error message saying that the app cannot connect to the server and then recommending I check the date and time oin my tablet (which is correct, by the way).

 

To me, theapp justg seems tl be a dud! If anyone can get it to work, please tell me different. Also, is it possible to add other social network apps (Linkedin would be good).

 

One other question relating to the configuration of "favourites" . Only Sony Stock apps can be added to this? WTF? We are only allowed to have faves ifthey are Sony? No fair or is it just me?

 

Also can anyone recommend a good alternate keyboard as the stock one is a bit difficult for me to use.

    I only used Social Reader once to test it out with Twitter and it worked, but it's rubbish in comparison to a dedicated app like Plume so stopped using it.

     

    I've never used Favotites, as, like you said, it's pretty pointless.

     

    Finally, the best keyboard is Thumb Keyboard. It's not free, but you can uninstall it for a full refund within 15 minutes if you're not happy; but you should be, it's excellent.
