How can I connect a DCR-TRV80E to windows 7 the PC does not have a firewire port?

Having recently upgraded the PC at home I am unable to transfer the captured video onto a Windows 7 PC as it does not have firewire. Loads of USB's but I cannot locate the driver across any Sony site?

    Hi DigiDavid 2012 and welcome.

     

    Does your new PC have a PC Card slot or, more likely, an ExpressCard slot?  If so you.can buy a FireWire card at a reasonable price.

     

    USB streaming only works with Windows XP.  I do keep an old  XP computer on my network for this and other legacy reasons.
