Hi,

Can anyone help,  I am having terrible problems trying to stop my vaio from Freezing.  It happens for no apparent reason it just stops responding and I have turn it off.

All my drivers are updated and I have tried many different things but when you think you have cracked it, it freezes again!!  It seems it has always had this problem.

Has anyone got the answer?  I would really appreciate you advice.  Thanks

Quite honestly it could be any number of things.

Are there any errors shown in the Event Viewer?

I take it you do not see a blue screen?  It just fereezes randomly?

Does the Vaio only do this when it is hot or under load?  You could try downloading something like PC Wizard which will show the temperatures of your CPU, GPU and HDD so you can see if the problem is thermal shutdown.
