Hello again ![]()
Thanks for the information. If you could give me some further information about the PC that you are using i.e. what type of operating system etc. (Windows XP/Vista/Win 7/Mac) I will refer your software query to customer support at Sony to see if I can get a response for you.
Thanks,
Simon

Thanks for the information and the useful screenshot as well. I have now forwarded this message to customer support at Sony and I will let you know as and when I get a response.
As it is Windows 7, do you have the 32 bit or 64 bit version?

I have the same problem when I am installing PlayMemories (PMHOME_1302.exe) on a Windows 7 Professional (64 bit version). The machine is a Fujitsu Celcius H910.
On my HP portable (Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit) everything is OK (= I could select the option "I accept the terms...) but I really would like the software to work on the Fujitsu (faster, better graphics card).
I have also the same problem on my Vaio VPCF13Z1E (i7 under Win7-i64 SP1).and my new HX20V camera.
See attachment.
I tried all the possible tricks to install PMH but to no avail (run as admin, roll down the EULA to the end, start install with HX20V plugged-in in different modes or plug-in during install)
This is a very nasty bug to say the least since it blocks me from using the GPS trail tracking features.
I came from a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 and hesitated between the TZ20 and the Sony HX20V. If this obvious bug is not solved very quickly, I will take this into account next time. The lifetime of these cameras is not so long that you can wait months before you can use it properly.
Move Sony, and quickly !!!! And please, change the version number so that we have a hint this is a new distribution that might be worth downloading. NO hidden "rev d" install since what we had was already a "rev c" 1.3.02 install.

Hello everyone ![]()
I have had some feedback from Customer Support at Sony and the first thing to perhaps try is to scroll all the way to the bottom of the EULA text to see if this 'activates' the button to proceed with the installation.
Please let me know if this works,
Simon
