I recently damaged my USB charger cable for my MP3\Walkman so I bought a replacement from Amazon.  The problem is when connected to any PC or Laptop the player is not detected however to charge the player I can plug the cable into a USB plug (i.e Blackberry charger) and the player charges from the main socket no problem with the new cable.  Any ideas why laptops\PCs dont see the player yet it can be charged using the new cable???
