Some questions/observations regarding FE41S

Hello,

I'd just like to know whether it's only my laptop doing these things or others are experiencing the same (partly or fully) from the following:

1. there's a gentle "zzz" sound coming from the display when the brightness is set to minimum

2. also display: at the bottom part of the screen a thin white line is visible which is a bit brigthter than the actual background color. not from side to side, rather on the left side until a bit more than the middle. interestingly - but not always - sometimes it also appears with darker backround colors.

3. the charger produces a not too loud but quite high "hissing" sound.

                         Hi , for the thin white line problem i went back to the sony center , one guy call someone from servie i think and they keep the laptop . They say that i need to wait to send a new one (the laptop was new , one day used) . You can read my post but more details i don't have....

    If there's a sound coming out, most possibly that's a hardware issue from my experience. How's the warranty on this?

    Perhaps I should point out that the original question in this discussion was asked 5 years ago.

     

    I doubt that he still has this laptop but if he has, it will be about 4 years out of warranty.
