    What reader do you have?

Where did you buy the books from?

What method did you use to buy your books? i.e. From book store to PC or book store direct to reader

    Hi.

Do you mean that you can't see the books that you inserted to your reader?

Was going to ask the same question, you're saying that the new books are not on the reader at all.

Sorry to ask but have you done this before, presumably you've transferred books successfully to the 350 already and this problem has just happened

Perhaps the OP simply means he doesn't see the books on his 350 when connected to PC.

If that's what you mean, derek, that's normal - in fact the reader can't be used as such when connected to PC.

All you see is Charging battery, then Do Not Disconnect [cos it is in data transfer mode.] so it's nothing to worry about.

If that's what you meant, that is ....

Is this problem only on the new books you've transfered or all the books?

    Can you read any books

Yes - have you any books on the reader that you can read at all ?

And sorry, I'm sure it's me being dim, but you say you load the books on your reader - and you know this because PC tells it has done so ?

And when the reader is disconnected, switched on, and you go to the Home page, what do you see ?

And if you see and hit "Books" [which is, I suppose, the shortcut you nee] ....what happens, what do you see

    then ?

You don't say you've tried a soft reset, that may be worth trying.

Finally, if all else fails, and the reader actually works/switches on/is charged up.......install Calibre - no registration etc.. required, it just works and recognises it when you plug it in.

Then you can download a book and see if that loads onto the reader OK - if it won't do it with Calibre, I'd suggest somethings wrong with reader.

With the reader disconnected you're saying that no books are showing on the home page? Yes or No

Are they showing if you select all your books or go into collections. If on the home page you select 'books see all' how many books does it say you have on the reader and is this different to those on your PC?

As suggested you should install Calibre software, then add a free book and does that show on the home page.
