Adobe ID and password problem

Whenever I open Reader for PC I get a pop up window asking for my Adobe ID and password. I then enter the correct password but the window just keeps opening even though the ID and password are correct as I have reset them many times now.

 

Im trying to download a recently purchased ebook but I think this is stopping me from doing so.

 

Anyone else had the same problem and knows a fix???

    Hi scrim369,

     

    Just a thought - when you say that you have 'reset' your ID and password many times, have you changed one or the other to something new?  If this is the case, that could be the problem.  To successfully download and read a copy protected eBook, you must use the ID and password that was used at the point the eBook was purchased - a new ID or password would be OK for any later books purchased, but not for any purchased on a previous ID/password.

    I agree with that. You just have to use a single Adobe account for your eBooks and you will surely won't have any problems with it.
