Hi,

My CAMCORDER DCR-HC48E doesn''t communicate with my laptop when connected despite that the software has been installed.Please what''s the way out?

What version of Windows do you have on your laptop?

The USB connection only works with Windows XP. If you have Vista or Windows 7, you can try connecting using a firewire cable which is supported by Windows without drivers.

Firewire/iLink/DV are the same.
