SONY CFD-RG880CP PROBLEM

FOR AT LEAST SEVEN MONTHS I HAVE A CFD-RG880CP BOOMBOX AND  MY 1ST QUESTION IS THAT THE RED (COLOR) FOAM EDGES OF THE TWO MAIN SPEAKERS ARE DISCOLORED IS THIS NORMAL?(SONY SERVICE SAYS THAT IT IS NORMAL BUT  I DONT BELIEVE THEM) AND THE 2ND QUESTION IS THAT THE DISPLAY OF THIS BOOMBOX HAVE A LITLE DUST FROM INSIDE IS THAT A PROBLEM? I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO CLEAN IT BECAUSE IT IS IN CLOSED CASE, I WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME GUYS THANKS.

    Hi  ANTONISX,

    welcome to Questions & Answers..

     

    Are your speakers placed in direct sunlight.?

    However as you are not happy I would suggest returning your CFD-RG880CP to the retailer as I wouldn't be to impressed if my speaker foam surrounds faded after such a short time..

     

    As to the dust I'm not sure but I don't think it's a sealed unit but perhaps your retailer can advice further..

     

    Also hope you don't mind me mentioning as you may not be aware but typing a question on a forum using Capitals (UPPER case) is considered shouting..
