I have a KDL-40HX703, with the sound set to clarity, which works well for me being a bit deaf in 1 ear.

When playing from my SVR-HDT500, the sound changes completely and I can find no settings on the SVR similar to the TV.

Why doesn't the TV sound setting work when using the SVR through HDMI cable?
