    Hello Bill

Unfortunately, this camcorder is not on the official list of compatible models which can be found here:

    http://www.sony.co.uk/product/dcc-dvdirect/vrd-mc6#/Compatibles

Therefore the accessory will not function with this camera.

    Thanks,

    Simon

the VRD-MC6 features analogue (composite) video in as well as DV-in. So I think it can be used with TRV330E to transfer video footage from camcorder to DVD.

Ah yes I appear to have overlooked the composite video input

As long as you have the correct cable there is no reason why this shouldn't work. Full instructions are on page 34 of the manual:

    http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4156864121.pdf

You should be able to use the A/V lead that was supplied originally with the camera.

    Thanks,

    Simon

Thanks for this list. I am going to buy a camcoder that fits this feature. Cheers.
