DRS-SR290 LCD Screen

I have a DSR-SR290 HDD Camcorde My problem is : In bright sunlight I cannot see the LCD Screen therefore when trying to record activities I just have to hope that I am pointing the camera at the right place(totally useless). Can an eyepiece viewfinder be attached to this camera

    There are currently no optical viewfinders listed on the official compatibility page but one alternative would be a sun guard like this one which is available for under £10:

    This should be ideal for the 2.7" screen on the SR290 and offer better visibility in bright sunlight.

    Many thanks for your advice I will purchase one of these but will still look for a proper eyepiece viewfider camcorder to buy  Any suggestions welcome
