S480 won't play fringe s3 disk 4 extras

I've seen the issue with this disk and a few others that apparently is due to the menus being "more complex" than normal.  THe player freezes and won't play any of the extras.  I was hoping the 620 firmware would help but it hasn't solved the problem.

A google search suggests other sony players have a similar problem.

The disk works perfectly on my PC using power dvd.

Any fix likely?

    Hi Markbluk,

    welcome to Questions & Answers..

     

    As you may have already read on similar problem's like this in the past Sony have suggested that you install the latest firmware, which you have done, & also do a factory reset..

     

    If you still have the disc could you try a factory reset of your S480 please, then if the The fringe disk's still does not play could you supply as much details as you can from the DVD/BD disk please, type of disc BD or DVD (retail or rental), region code, releasing  studio, version, etc. so that I can pass it onto Sony in the hope that they can find a solution..
