Hi

I have a  Sony BDP-S570 Bluray player connected to a Denon UDRA M10 amplifier which is connected to B&W DM 601 S2 speakers.

Playing DVDs and Blurays is fine.  The sound is brilliant and I can turn it up very loud without distortion.

However when I play audio CDs (originals) the sound becomes distorted at anything other than the lowest volume.  It really starts to sound awful, like the speaker has been damaged.

Any ideas what might be going on?
