My laptop keeps minimising programs

At random intervals, my laptop minimises any running application or acts as if I have clicked on the taskbar, so I have to click on the program I want to use again. Whenever this starts to happen, it happens every 10 to 15 seconds for about 15 minutes. As you can imagine, this makes activities such as typing or browsing online difficult.

 

I have had this problem ever since I bought the laptop. What should I do?

    Hi hpopescu1,

     

    This can be caused by malware or more likely a thirb party program that is causing the application to lose focus.

     

    Try a cleen boot and troubleshoot from there.

    This usually happens because a short cut key is hit, and it causes the screen to minimise. If you have Hotkey installed, or som, setting on that minimises, then try and uncheck that.

    It is often a combination of  two keys that starts the minimise.
