I have a KDL-37W5810 TV, new STR-DH820 and new SVR-HDT1000. The latter two bought because I thought they could all (plus a planned bluray player) be controlled by one remote. So far I have managed to control the HDD and TV from the HDD remote or the TV and AVreceiver from the receiver remote but despite prolonged manual reading I have found no way to access the HDD guide and program list from the AV remote.

Does anyone know either how to achieve using one remote or know of an idiots guide to achieve it.

Having worked in Human Factors for a large computer manufacturer I am surprised how bad Sony's manuals are for ease of use.
