HXD870 HDD Guide Plus now not working on Sky Europsort

Help; used to get Guideplus via ITV analog. After switch off changed to Sky Eurosport as the host channel, this which initially worked. It has now stopped updating so I now have no programming guide and hate doing timer recording. I cannot use the digital TV guide as as we do not yet have a digital signal as we are in a bad reception area. Any ideas what to do next?

    I am having the same problem now with the same machine

     

    I've always used Guide Plus in conjunction with Sky Digital so that I can record Sky programmes that wouldn't be included on the Guide Digital

     

    For the past year or two I've had the Guide Plus set to download from British Eurosport (ch 410) off my Sky Digital box and this had been working fine until the last few weeks. Maybe no coincidence that my region (London) has just switched over to digital

     

    I don't understand why analogue switch off would affect my downloads from my Sky box

     

    Can anyone confirm whether they are still able to download Guide Plus from Sky ch 410 with the older Sony hdd recorders ?

    OK problem solved for me

     

    It wasn't the Sony HDD recorder that was the problem. It was my Sky Box that for some reason stopped recognizing the Eurosport text. Re-booted my Sky Box and now everything is working again
