Also have a RZ424, no updated drivers are available yet for the soundcard, but a later driver from nvida (2/7/04), cured my little niggles with MS Flgt sim 2004, file version: 2.11.15.0.
Hope this is of use to you.
PS: I have all options/visials at their highest levels and have not had any problems, but still have good frame rates.
Hope this helps!
Brian
The link for the latest nvidia graphics driver for ypur pc is
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/winxp_2k_56.72, hope this is of use to you, which was dated April 2004.
Did you try the update for soundmax soundcard on Sony's website; ACD_SMX_51213860. It shoud be for RZ424P, but worked fine with my system.
Could you please tell me if there is any particular flights or planes that you are experiencing the sound problem with, and are you using the supplied Sony speakers, as I have the sound through them as well as the speakers on the Sony HX monitor, and not yet noticed any similar problems.

Hi again...
Thanx for the link. Sound-wise, happens on all planes really, most noticeable on the Cessna when increasing engine power. It's like a 'static' -type crackling sound. It's not the speakers as I've tried headphones and the speakers through the HX93 display! I also have the latest drivers for the SoundMAX card.
Thanx again.
