(Vaio VGN-FZ11M, Vista Home premium, Bluetooth Stack for windows by toshiba) I have a problem concerning the bluetooth stack. I have used the bluetooth many times in the past for sending/receiving files from various mobile phones successfully. If I remember correctly the procedure was quite simple. Yesterday, I tried to establish a connection with a mobile phone (which I had used successfully in the past) and the connection was frozen when the mobile was trying to send the file and then failed. The bluetooth could find all the devices and it could connect by DUN connection with the mobile but after that the connection was failing. I think that something is going wrong with the  bluetooth's software. I also dont know what kind of connection is the right one: DUN or Serial? Any help? I just want to send/receive jpg, mp3, etc files from a mobile phone.

As long as the bluetooth is on you should just be able to send from the mobile device and a dialog box appears asking where to save the file (this for some reason hides itself below any open windows so minimise them all).

Delete all the connections created on your phone made connecting the computer.

Now just select the file in your phones file manager and then click on send to -> bluetooth or similar.
