You need to finalise them as modern technology is traveling to fast. Once the disk is burned in the format and will not play. Transfer the disk unto your computer and burn a new copy.

I would strongly recommend you read up on how to transfer and what connection is what. The new version has USB instead of Firewire as your camcorder has Firewire connection.

Channing file names is not going to solve your problem. Firstly what version of iMovie have you got?. Next question your video images play? So when you imported your video to iMovie did you hear and sound?.

Please check you setting on you computer as i do not know what other audio you wish to work with your PC/Mac

In your iMac check if you have Firewire and USB. I think they have done away with Firewire on the new models, but not certain.

You could go to Apple store and buy a 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire Adapter.

Connects FireWire 400 devices to FireWire 800 ports.

That is what i use on my Mac Computer.

Read your question again? If you delete from a web-browser they are gone.

Who has your lap top?. Do you mean a person has hacked into your lap top and deleted your material.

Were do you keep your password?

You can check on your hardrive and see what is in there. Do you also have a virus protection software?

There are 3 ways of looking at this.

Firstly don't get to near to amplifiers video further back or get yourself a Gun zoom microphone. Sony do the ECM-HGZ1

Beware of copyright when filming these events.

You could try a Windshield over your mike, but make sure you then can monitor your sound with headphones.

In general dont get close.

There is more to filming a pop concert but this is not a video class.

Your problem in iMovie 09 sounds like a Interlacing Effect or Combing.

Check in 9 what Frame-Rate you are using 25F.P.S.

When opening iMovie 09 did you configure your camcorder with the new software? also have you updated any new downloads in iMovie.

I have just joint and i see many questions with limited informations. The more information one gives the better for panel to answer.

Some questions people cant be bother to look for themselves. Most answers are on there computers and camcorder manuals.

Before starting any questions regards problems with camcorder or computer. In easy terms. "Does your Camcorder talk to your PC or Mac?.

If not then you have not configured the settings.

If you are going to do a lot of video work. Mac and Final Cut Pro 7 will handle any of your formats. Go into Google and type in the above software.

There are other software like Vegas etc.

I use FCP7 and can deal with any format of video.

My PC cannot connect with DCR-HC47 camcorder.

I think it would be a good idea to find out what items are if needed on computer?. Codecs stand for "FAST VIDEO DECOMPRESSION".

Shooting any plays should be done in manual mode. Set your White Balance and also check how much light you have in the hall.

Do you know what the iris is? You have white balance.

You question is very limited. There are so many makes of camcorder on the market. Having the web-page of your model would help. You cant expect us to search.

What happens when you zoom in and out? What happens when you are in Auto mode?.

Your Camcorder should have cables. Your PC will be running with USB port.

i Check your camera output system.

2 Check your computer input system.

3 If your iLink cable connects to camera and computer then both of them should talk to each other.

Your information is a bit limited. You open your LDS screen on your camera and nothing happens? Are you getting any signal on your camera when switched on?.

In general you need to set up your camera with your computer and use the appropriate software.
