Any idea what that means for those of us that bought the tablet in the usa on launch date but stay in the uk?

By the way I agree with the comments that it is up to Sony when for commercial reasons they decide to drop the price, I understand why it may not bode well with certain people, but essentially this it the risk you take with buying a new product on launch date...

disappearing emails

As already said, make sure you are not downloading them using pop3 as usually that will taske them off the host server. instead use imap. I had a similar issue when I set mine up like that accidentally originally. imap will let you view whatever is on the server until it is deleted or downloaded using a pop account. It's not necesary to 'leave a copy on the server' as such with imap as far as I understand, as it does that by default.

Sony Tablet S1 Browser Crashing

Evening,

I'll try putting this one out here since I tried support with no luck in rectifying my issue. I've had my tab since the release date in September, and all is great with the exception of one major gripe. Every time I close a tab in the built in browser, the whole application seems to shutdown. it's not even as if it just hides behind another application, it shows in the recent apps list but when loaded again it reverts back to the home page, and it's starting to get a bit annoying as there is no recenlty closed tabs similar to google chrome on the pc. has anyone else came across this issue? it is running android 3.2 as recommended and I have tried a full factory reset...
