Why is playstation mobile not available on tablet S in Ireland.

Why? Why? Why?

It's available on ps vita. Since I got this tablet over a year ago there has been no reader store, no video service and no ps store now ps mobile.

Do you not want the custom Sony? Is it just incompetence or what is your problem with Ireland?

Sorry for the rude tone of post but I'm really tired of this.

Basic licensing rights that could be very easily sorted out if they could be bothered. A small market isn't worth anything to them except sales for hardware. I know the ps store is rubbish but why the hell is that not available here Sony?

No I think the other poster is Chakotae. Such as the fact this thread is about Irish users not having any proper services and their country of residence is listed as the UK. ICS hasn't made a shred of difference, still nothing. I am starting to hate Sony and I didn't think it was possible to hate a faceless, soulless coroporation.

I have a lot of sony because of the promise as yet unfulfilled of convergence. I love technology but haven't any expert knowledge. I have been suckered in twice now by sony, the tablet and the vita. Record losses are the start of your problems sony, there's going to be worse when nobody will buy the brand because of the dreadful attitude toward the customer.

Because Sony treat Irish customers in an appalling way. We give them huge amounts of money for their products then are left high and dry without even basic facilities enabled.

That said, perhaps the app is being delayed until after the ICS update.

Can't see this having impact but I totally agree.

Sony have been dreadful, truly disgraceful in their exploitation of Irish customers by selling them a fabulous item but unuseable. The apps that made me want the item don't work over 6 months after purchase, it's unbelieveable. I do understand about the individual licensing requirements of each country but if we were good enough to take money from we are good enough to provide services to, often paid services.

Just as an aside my tablet was a gift from my non techie Mother who went to the ends of the earth making calls, getting the 32gb model and being really pleased with herself for having found something special for me. I dread it when she asks if the apps are available yet. She may not know what they are but she knows they're not there and is very disappointed.

Disappointment is the key word when it comes to the Sony Tablet S in Ireland.

I hope you are right Colin, I took the fact the message was changed to mean stuff you Ireland you're not getting the services at all. I know Ireland is a small market but this is very poor service.

I really am starting to hate the sight of the not available in your region message but I do admit to being volatile. I really love the machine and in my case someone went to a lot of trouble to buy it for me and would be very disappinted if they knew about its limitations.

Ok we will never get video unlimited or crackle because sony can't be bothered but why can I still not use the playstation store app? Today it said it needed an update which I did and still I get the the not available in your country/region message. So annoying to buy a fine device and be let down like this.

Whingeing disappointed Irish customer here too.

When you click on the tablet on the sony store page and keep on clicking you get to the product information page and one of the tabs is for applications. There is info the about the installed and recommended apps. Not exactly brilliant but the whole tablet thing has been a big disappointment for the Irish customers.

I'd just like access to the store, the reader, any video service at all. Being an Irish customer is not a good experience right now.

Just installed the update.

No video unlimited

No reader app.

No playstation store.

No crackle.

The tablet was a very well meant gift and yet even the most basic stuff doesn't work because I'm in Ireland.

I've had the device for several weeks now and it's really disappointing that I can't use the features.

Does anyone have details of when things might improve for me?
