have you tried the powerline adapter with a laptop or computer to check they are working?

Failing that, just run a factory reset and that should clear it.

It may well be the rights holder has chosen not to make them available on big screens - this would be the same for all TV manufacturers. I had the same issue last night when I treied to stream a video from youtube on my iphone to an apple tv box and it refused to, simply down to rights..

Apparently, there has been an option on the table for several years for ITV to build a service for Sony, but they have not wanted to for some reason, likely lack of resources and fear of having to support multiple platforms like the BBC have to.

have you tried, updating the firmware and then factory restting the device? This should fix any software glitches?

Sounds like a temporary DRM related glitch. I'd switch off and unplug your TV and router for a few minutes to power cycle everything and then try again. Presume you are using an HDMi cable to connect to your Blu-ray to your Tv?

Hi - unfortunately not - its a totally different type of laser used for Blu-ray discs. Blu-ray players are pretty cheap now and will improve the quality of your DVDs also, so worth getting checking out for sure.

If you open the jpgs in Microsoft Paint and then save them again, then drop them into the directory on the USB stick, the TV should recognise them. You can set the directory to loop also, viw pressing options on the remote when they are playing.

I think the above poster is confused. GS7 is Google TV product, so simply browse to ITV.com and follow the links and it should work without any problem.

Possibly. Depends on your TV model. The app you need is called Media Remote though and it should spec out requirements

Simply, no these devices are not designed to act as file servers which is what you are referring to. You might be able to connect the hard drive to your router or get a NAS or something similar. N200 and PS3 are DLNA receivers not servers meaning they can receive fies but not send them, and this will be the same for most of these kind of devices I think.

Not sure this model support video DLNA, as I think this was the first year DLNA was introduced and they only support pictures & music. The manual should clarify though

Easiest solution is to get any current Blu-ray player and stream it through that as the TV itself is still perfectly good.

As this TV doesn't natively support .mkv, it sounds like the issue is with the transcoding software on your NAS most likely.

Have you tried with a differnt TV & different cables. If you are trying to play 3D Blu-ray, this won't work on your RPJ TV as its not compatible though. You would need a 3D BRAVIA or similar to do this..

Sounds temporary, couple of things to try..

Try switching off your modem and unplugging it for 5 mins and then turning it back on.
Could factory reset the TV.

Might be glitch at BBC side, but pretty sure the above will sort it.

The iPlayer V3 that you have on the TV is now standard on all manufacturers devices as its controlled and mandated by the BBC themselves. Suprising that performance is especially laggy though - how is your TV connected to the Internet? Have you tried hardwiring it to see if performance improves? Might also be worth runnning a factory reset as well.

Sounds like the wifi signal in that part of the room may be a little weak. Have you tried hardwiring it or using Homeplugs? Any form of video streaming is far more robust with a wired solution to be honest.

Its a CAM slot for encrypted TV channels. Not that widely used in the UK, but you wouldn't be able to use it to get online with PC peripherals.

How are you connecting the device to the Network? Wifi/Ethernet/Homeplug?

Buffering issues are usually down to network issues/traffic or possibly if the Hard Disc of the computer is doing multiple tasks at the same time. Definitely worth rebooting the router ( unplug and leave it off for a couple of minutes to power cycle it).

The fact you have tried different pieces of software all with the same result seems to point to network also, so that would be the first thing to check I think.

Google Tv does have full Chrome support - its just that the broadcaster catchup areas aren't optimised for mobile browsing as dedicated apps exist for android handsets but not android/Google TV.

No devices out there from anyone that supports HEC yet. Not sure if it will be possible to upgrade existing devices to support this so it may be that current devices will be unable to support when its more widely available.
