Just got through to Sony online store. Sony will no longer supply the charger for the Sony Tablet S. The Sony store suggestion was eBay!

This is just not acceptable. My Tablet is only months old yet it would appear that Sony have left us owners out in the cold. I will no longer by Sony products. Time to move to Samsung.

Be careful. I purchased via John Lewis thinking I would get better service, but all the "Technical Helpline" did was to refer me to the Sony website and their customer support. I still fail to see what advantage buying from John Lewis was. You still have a Sony product that (it would appear) Sony supports.

I am still trying to get one. local Sony Centres have tried with no luck. Sony themselves have not yet returned my call. Really does look like Sony have left the originall tablet owners out in the cold. Yet again, shame on Sony.

Touch and hold. You then get a popup menu which includes delete.

I think it is now safe to say Sony have failed in the tablet market. My original S is still woking reasonably well. Locks up evey now and again but looks like any further support is nonexistant (see my post on original S PSU and the one by Thalamus on Jelly Bean). I wonder how long they will support the Xperia as sales will now be very poor.

My goodness. When these were on the Sony website when I purchased the tablet they were £29. I know we have high inflation, but that is just a really stupid price. Live and learn. Dont buy products with non std power supplies.

Does anybody know where to obtain a spare PSU for a Tablet S? It would appear Sony have given up with it as their shop and official UK spares supplier does not gave any! What are we expected to do? Just because Sony released a new tablet with completely different parts why should we suffer? Not even a year old and my tablet looks like it is unsupported. Not happy. Come on Sony play fair by your customers.

You are not alone. I have the same problem. Mouse works on Galaxy Note (also ICS). I wonder why?

I have a bluetooth mouse that connects to the Tab S, but no pointer appears. Same mouse works fully on Galaxy Note (also ICS).

Anybody got an idea why it does not work?

USA got the ICS update months before us. I hopeful Sony will soon realise that the world exists outside of America and give non American customers some service soon.

This happens to me regularly. I think the tablet does not detect removal of headphones. Shame it happens and shame it takes a power cycle to sort it out .

Actually "by" the 31st which means possibly before. But obviously not in this case. Quite why the need to wait until the last minute after releasing in the USA all that time ago! It must mean it will go without a hitch.

Sorry I am being as clear as Sony!

What I was asking is will all countries in Europe get the update all on the same day or will the last country get it on the 31st or will it be a roll out starting on the 31st?

I also wonder if Sony will explain the month earlier update in the USA only. It would be nice to know why our American cousins get different treatment to the rest of the world.

When with Sony UK make ICS available for any tablet in the UK? All the press are the usual USA centric and because it has been released there it must be "world wide". It is disgusting that Sony UK can treat its customers so badly. Remember we don't have to by Sony products and these days the products are really so similar it is the 'soft' issues that people go for, i.e., quality of the customer support. So far on this issue Sony have given NO support.
